How can I participate in an online auction?
You can participate in the online auction through our website and mobile apps. You can download the mobile apps from the respective app stores. Just search for “Emirates Auction”.Next, you need to create an account on the website or apps. Just look for the register button and complete your details to successfully register your account.Once your account has been successfully created, you would be required to submit a security deposit, then you can bid on any of the available numbers in auction, taking into consideration your allowable bidding limit.
How can I pay the security deposit?
The security deposit can be paid online via credit card through our website and apps, bank transfer to our bank account or normal cheque to be submitted at any of Emirates Auction branches across the UAE. For more information please visit the security deposit FAQ.
How can I pay for the FUJ VIP number I have won?
You can pay your invoice directly through My Purchases → Checkout, then choose the SOP and follow the instructions for our bank account:

Is there any other fees that will be applied other than the auction value?
Ownership certificate issuance fees of AED 100 will be applied.
Which nationalities can participate in the auction?
All nationalities holding UAE residency are permitted to participate and buy unlimited number of VIP plates.
If my visa is not issued from Fujairah, can I buy and own the Fujairah premium plates?
Yes, you can buy and own plates even if your visa is not issued from Fujairah.
Is bidding time going to be extended?
The bidding time is extended only in case any bid took place at the last minutes of the bidding time to allow other bidders to submit their offers
What if I want a specific license plate and it is not available in the auction?
You can request the plate number from My requests on our website and mobile applications, or by visiting one of our Emirates Auction branches.
What’s the maximum period to pay for the FUJ VIP plate number after the auction?
Payment must be done within 3 working days after the auction ends, otherwise AED 100 will be applied for each day. In case of no payment your security deposit will be confiscated and legal action will be taken.
What happens if I don’t pay for the VIP plates that I have won?
Your security deposit will be confiscated and legal action will be taken.
Can you courier the ownership certificate to me?
Yes, the ownership certificate can be delivered by Empost courier.
You can request this service directly from your account by going to My Purchases → Checkout. Complete the payment by adding AED 100 for each ownership certificate and upload the required documents. The fees will appear in the checkout process
Can I collect my ownership certificates from the any of the company branches across the UAE?
Yes, and if you face any problem, please submit a support ticket through your account Support → Create Ticket and our team will assist you.
Does the person who won the VIP plate number, need to be present to receive it personally?
No, You can collect or request delivery of your plate directly through My Purchases → Checkout in your account by selecting your invoice and following the instructions provided. Please note that AED 100 will be applicable to issue the ownership certificate.
Can someone else collect the ownership certificates?
Yes, bidder must submit legal power of attorney.
Can I register the number VIP plate number in different names?
Yes after the auction ends, you can change the names for each plate through your account.
Is there any limit on the quantity of VIP plates I can purchase?
No.
Can I sell my number in the auction?
No, Emirates Auction only auctions VIP plate numbers for government entities only.
Can I cancel my bid?
No, All bids are final.
Why should I refresh the app or portal during an auction?
Refreshing the app or portal during an auction ensures that you have the most up-to-date information, including the latest bids from other participants. This helps you stay informed and maintain your position as the highest bidder.
What should I keep in mind when bidding in the closing moments of an auction?
All bidders are responsible for ensuring that their bids are placed in a timely manner, particularly during the closing moments of an auction, Emirates Auction does not accept responsibility for bids that are not placed or executed due to technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or any other unforeseen circumstances. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor the auction closely and submit their bids promptly. Bidders are encouraged to bid with sufficient time remaining to avoid any last-minute bidding challenges.
Why was the auction extended without prior notice?
Emirates Auction reserves the right to extend auctions in certain circumstances, such as insufficient bidding activity, technical issues or court’s order. This extension ensures fair competition and allows bidders a reasonable opportunity to participate.
