How can I participate in online auction?

What is the required amount of the security deposit for online auction?
20 % from the limit you want to reach in case you want to place it by card, bank deposit or bank transfer(ex, if you want your limit to be 15000 aed you will need to place 3000 aed). Also, you can pay the security deposit by cheque knowing that the cheque will be under the name of Emirates auction and with no date and it will cover 100% from the limit you want to reach(ex, if you want your limit by the cheque to be 15000 aed you will need to place 15000 aed)

Do I have to log in each time I visit the site?
No. you can browse as a guest and If you browse as a guest, you will not have access to the full website functionality. If you do not want to input your login details each time you visit the site, you can select the "remember me on this PC" option. This means you will automatically be logged in when you access the website. Please note that you should not click this option if your PC is shared with other users or if you are in an internet café, as your account could be accessed by others.
How do I change my password?
Firstly, log in with your existing password. Go to "my profile"then press on your name then choose change password.
Can I create more than one account?
No. Users must not create more than one account. Emirates Auction will delete a duplicate account and reserves the right to delete the original account if fraudulent use is suspected.

You can easily update your account information. Just go to the My profile section and update the desired fields.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, you must be 18 years or older to register and, therefore, be able to bid.
How can I participate in an online auction?
It is simple. Once you have REGISTERED (and have paid refundable security deposit), just find the plate you are interested in. To place your bid, click the BID NOW button next to the license plate you would like. Enter your bid, and clicks CONTINUE. You will be shown your bid and asked to confirm it by entering your password. Once this is accepted your bid is now registered for that number plate. At the end of the auction for that particular number plate, if you have the highest bid, you will be declared the winner and owner of the number plate.
When can the auction time be extended?
Emirates Auction has the right to extend the end time of the auction in case of any technical issues.
Which nationalities can bid in the auction?
All nationalities are permitted to bid.
Are there any limitations for purchasing license plates?
There is no limit; you may bid and purchase as many plates as you like.
How do I complete the payment if my bid is successful?
You can make the payment via credit card, bank deposit, or bank transfer. Please send us a copy of the transfer receipt and mention any of the won plates to [email protected], including the username of your account, the phone number to contact you, the plate number for which you paid, and any instructions you would like to be implemented. Please note that the bank transfer takes three days for the amount to reach our bank account, and an amount of AED 80 must be added to the transfer amount for the transfer fees of the receiving bank. What happens if I win the bid but do not complete the payment?

How long do I have to pay for the license plate?
Payment must be done within 3 working days after the auction ends, otherwise AED 105 will be applied for each day. In case of no payment, your security deposit will be confiscated, and legal action will be taken.
What is the Minimum Increment?
The minimum value that can be added to the current price for the completion of the bidding process.
I placed a bid by mistake. Can I cancel it?
No, once a bid is placed, you cannot cancel it

You have to check the auction end date and time.
What if I want a specific license plate and it is not available in the current auction?
Go to unique numbers then press on your favorite number, request your special number and you will be notified when it's available.

Will the security deposit amount be deducted from the credit card?
No, the security deposit paid through card is held during the auction period only to ensure the seriousness of the bidder and that he/she completes the payment process if he/she wins one of the unique plates.
Can i put my unique plate in the auction?
No.plates are to be provided by the government sectors in the UAE only
Could the sale of the plate be disapproved after the auction ends?
Yes, the decisions of the Abu Dhabi police apply in terms of accepting or rejecting any bid.
What are the steps to take after paying the plate number?
You will need to fill in the new owner's name and traffic number and provide the address to where you wish to deliver ownership by courier.
What is the reason for increasing the auction time when a bid is placed in the last minutes?
This is done to give other bidders a fair opportunity to increase their bids, which is similar to the mechanism that takes place in physical auctions.

How can I receive the ownership of the number that I won in the auction?
After completing the payment process, you can update the ownership details and the courier address through your registered account with us. The ownership of the number is printed and sent through courier within 5 to 7 working days.

Emirates Auctions does not bear any responsibility for the delay or non-receipt of the ownership from your side. The buyer bears the fees for issuing a replacement in the event of damage or loss of the unique number's ownership.
What happens if the traffic code number is entered incorrectly by the bidder ?
Emirates Auction does not bear any responsibility if the bidder enters the traffic code number in the data for registering the distinctive number, and the bidder bears any fees related to reprinting the ownership with the correct data.

All bidders are responsible for ensuring that their bids are placed in a timely manner, particularly during the closing moments of an auction, Emirates Auction does not accept responsibility for bids that are not placed or executed due to technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or any other unforeseen circumstances. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor the auction closely and submit their bids promptly. Bidders are encouraged to bid with sufficient time remaining to avoid any last-minute bidding challenges.
