The agreement was signed under the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah’s Decision No. 3 for the year _____ on the disposal of seized vehicles, in accordance with the provisions and procedures stipulated by law.

The agreement was signed by Brigadier Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and Mr. Mohammed Matar Al Mannaei, Vice Chairman of Emirates Auction, in the presence of Brigadier Khalifa Al Merri, Deputy Director General of Resources and Support Services; Colonel Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Deputy Director General of Central Operations; Colonel Arif Hassan Hudeib, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department; Colonel Rashid Al Bas, Director of Finance; Colonel Ali Rahma Al Owais, Director of Support Services; and a number of other officers.

Under the agreement, Emirates Auction is appointed as the exclusive agent to market and sell seized vehicles via electronic public auctions, in line with the applicable procedures. These procedures give Sharjah Police the right to dispose of vehicles, machinery, and motorcycles it has seized if their owners do not take the required steps to release them within a period of no less than six months, as per the provisions and procedures set forth by law.

One of the agreement’s clauses stipulates that a detailed list of vehicles to be sold must be provided, including the make, model, manufacturing year, chassis number, and the minimum sale price. The electronic auction will proceed by preparing and photographing the vehicles, assigning them specific codes, and uploading their photos onto the auction platform until the designated period ends, followed by the completion of the relevant procedures once the auction has been awarded.

Brigadier Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi stated that this step aligns with Sharjah Government’s vision and supports the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to enhance customer satisfaction by offering effective services, according to the best standards that meet users’ needs and keep pace with the most advanced systems and applications in all fields.

Brigadier Al Shamsi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the strategic partner, Emirates Auction, for its prominent role in helping the police leadership achieve its objectives and secure institutional excellence and leadership.

For his part, Al Mannaei expressed his pleasure with this ongoing partnership with Sharjah Police and his pride in the trust Sharjah Police has placed in the company, its competence, and its expertise. He stressed that the company would do everything possible to implement the agreement in the best way, reflecting well on the Emirate of Sharjah and meeting the aspirations of Sharjah Police, its partners, and customers.
