MOST NOBLE NUMBER RAISES AED 91.4 MILLION; PLEDGES EXCEED AED 1.13 BILLION TO SUPPORT EDGE OF LIFE

Total pledges and donations associated with the event reached AED 1.136221 billion, including AED 1.039 billion in corporate donations made during the Ramadan suhoor held alongside the auction—supporting the “Edge of Life” initiative, which aims to save five million children worldwide.

The charity evening saw the participation of leading business figures, philanthropists, and supporters of humanitarian work, as attendees competed to purchase distinguished vehicle plate numbers and mobile numbers—reflecting the strong engagement with UAE-led humanitarian initiatives.

The single-digit plate DD 6, issued by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), recorded the highest price in the auction after being sold for AED 37 million. The sales also included several other premium plates sold for millions of dirhams, contributing to the auction’s proceeds in support of the initiative.

The auction also offered a set of distinguished mobile numbers from du and e&, where the highest-selling mobile number reached around AED 4.5 million, while the lowest-selling number recorded AED 45,000, amid strong competition to acquire premium numbers in support of the initiative’s humanitarian goals.

The “Most Noble Number” auction was held as part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives’ efforts to support the “Edge of Life” campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to save five million children under the age of five from dying due to hunger and malnutrition, and to help protect millions of children worldwide from the risks of severe malnutrition.
