His Excellency Major General Staff Omar Ali Al Ghazal, Director General of the General Department of Operations and Security Support at Sharjah Police, inaugurated the “Darbak Sahal” platform, organized by the Traffic and Licensing Services Center over four days at City Centre Al Zahia as part of the “New Academic Year” initiative. The platform aims to introduce traffic and licensing services and provide specialized services and offers for students and educational staff.
Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, stated that the “Darbak Sahal” platform brings together several strategic partners, including Rafid Automotive Solutions, Emirates Auction, Sharjah Driving Institute, ENOC AutoPro, and Sharjah Old Cars Club, to provide a diverse range of services and offers that meet customers’ needs and facilitate access to services.
He explained that Rafid provides remote vehicle technical inspection services, while Emirates Auction offers 300 distinctive plate numbers with discounts of up to 20%, and Sharjah Driving Institute offers a 30% discount on training fees. ENOC AutoPro provides free tyre inspections for visitors to City Centre Al Zahia. Sharjah Old Cars Club also offers a discount on club membership, along with a complimentary simulator experience for virtual driving training.
He added that the platform provides the public with guidance on the optimal use of smart platforms and digital services for traffic and licensing transactions, helping simplify transaction completion, enhance the customer experience, and improve traffic-related services for students and educational staff in preparation for the start of the new academic year.
