Most Noble Numbers Charity Auction for Distinctive Plates and Mobile Numbers Launches Tomorrow in Abu Dhabi

Tomorrow, April 20, the “Most Noble Numbers” charity auction will kick off in Abu Dhabi, coinciding with “Zayed Humanitarian Day,” in support of the region’s largest food relief initiative, “1 Billion Meals.” Business leaders and philanthropists will vie for 15 special vehicle plate numbers – single-digit, double-digit, and triple-digit – along with exclusive mobile phone numbers. All proceeds will go entirely to providing food support for those in need across 50 countries.

Scheduled for Wednesday evening, April 20, 2022, at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the “Most Noble Numbers” charity auction will feature five exclusive plate numbers issued in Abu Dhabi: the single-digit plate “Abu Dhabi 2” from Category 2, the double-digit plates “Abu Dhabi 11” from Category 2 and “Abu Dhabi 20” from Category 2, “Abu Dhabi 99” from Category 1, and the triple-digit “Abu Dhabi 999” from Category 2.

Additionally, the Abu Dhabi edition of the “Most Noble Numbers” charity auction will include bidding on exclusive mobile phone numbers from Etisalat and du. Etisalat will showcase five diamond numbers: 0547444444, 0542244444, 0542422222, 0547799999, and 0567777722; while du will offer five distinctive numbers: 0589999996, 0586666662, 0581111114, 0582444444, and 0586222222.

A Remarkable Day for Charity

The event takes place on the eve of “Zayed Humanitarian Day” (19th Ramadan), an annual occasion celebrated by the UAE community that encourages substantial charitable and humanitarian contributions both locally and globally. The auction is organized by the “1 Billion Meals” campaign in collaboration with Emirates Auction, with the support of Abu Dhabi Police, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du), and Etisalat Emirates.

Aligning the “Most Noble Numbers” charity auction in Abu Dhabi with “Zayed Humanitarian Day” provides an opportunity to multiply charitable and humanitarian contributions by UAE philanthropists, reinforcing the country’s global leadership in aiding those in distress through impactful initiatives and innovative donation channels.

Bidding for Good Causes

The Abu Dhabi “Most Noble Numbers” charity auction supports the “1 Billion Meals” initiative, organized by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives to assist the needy and impoverished in 50 countries worldwide. Auction proceeds will be allocated to providing direct food aid in underprivileged communities.

Proceeds from the auction will contribute to a food safety net for those suffering from food insecurity, particularly vulnerable groups such as children, refugees, displaced persons, and victims of crises and disasters. Hunger and malnutrition claim the lives of 25,000 people daily — of which 10,000 are children.

Continuation and Expansion

This Abu Dhabi auction follows the Dubai edition held four days earlier, which raised AED 53 million in support of “1 Billion Meals.” That event included the sale of the world’s third most expensive vehicle plate number, AA8, for AED 35 million, and saw an Etisalat diamond mobile phone number (0549999999) raise AED 5 million, with proceeds directed to providing food to those in need under the “1 Billion Meals” campaign.
