April 20, 2022 | Al Emarat Al Youm
Taking place this evening at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the “Most Noble Numbers” auction will present five exclusive Abu Dhabi-issued vehicle plate numbers: the single-digit “Abu Dhabi 2” from category 2, the double-digit “Abu Dhabi 11” from category 2, “Abu Dhabi 20” from category 2, “Abu Dhabi 99” from category 1, and the triple-digit “Abu Dhabi 999” from category 2.
During the same event, philanthropists and humanitarian advocates from Abu Dhabi and across the UAE will bid on a set of special mobile numbers from Etisalat and du. Etisalat’s five diamond numbers for the Abu Dhabi auction are 0547444444, 0542244444, 0542422222, 0547799999, and 0567777722, while du offers five distinctive numbers: 0589999996, 0586666662, 0581111114, 0582444444, and 0586222222.
By aligning this charity auction with “Zayed Humanitarian Day,” the UAE community aims to amplify contributions toward philanthropic and humanitarian endeavors, reinforcing the nation’s leadership in supporting those in need through impactful initiatives and creative donation channels.
Each year on 19th Ramadan, the UAE community observes “Zayed Humanitarian Day,” which serves as an annual occasion for significant charitable, humanitarian, and social donations both locally and internationally.
Organized by the “1 Billion Meals” campaign in cooperation with Emirates Auction and with support from Abu Dhabi Police, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du), and Etisalat Emirates, the “Most Noble Numbers” charity auction in Abu Dhabi backs the campaign’s mission to provide direct food assistance to underprivileged communities across 50 countries.
This edition of the “Most Noble Numbers” auction in Abu Dhabi follows a successful event in Dubai four days prior, which raised AED53 million for the “1 Billion Meals” initiative. That Dubai auction set a record for selling the world’s third most expensive vehicle plate for AED35 million (plate number AA8), and a diamond Etisalat mobile number (0549999999) fetched AED5 million – all going toward feeding those in need through the “1 Billion Meals” initiative, reflecting the UAE’s global humanitarian commitment.
