How much is the security deposit required to start bidding?
The security deposit is 20% of your bidding limit. So if you wish to have a purchasing limit of AED 50,000, your security deposit needs to be AED 10,000. This can be paid by bank deposit or online via credit card. In case you wish to deposit a cheque, please note that the cheque amount will be 100% of your bidding limit.
How can I inspect the cars?
by visiting the car location and inspect by yourself if it was available for inspection, also you can check the inspection report if it was provided by the car provider
How do I refund my credit card security deposit?
by following the steps shown in this link knowing that it will be released and reflected in the same card you used within 21 working days from the release date
Can I bid and pay the full value of the vehicle without personally coming to the UAE?
Yes, by bank transfer to our bank account and sending the transfer receipt to [email protected] from your registered Email or uploading it into your account by following the steps shown in this link.
Note that the transfer takes 3 days to reflect and you need to pay an extra AED 80 as fees for the receiving bank .

Does Emirates Auction provide export service?
Emirates Auction can only assist in preparing the Export certificate. Export fees are 525 aed to issue the export certificate and 178.5 aed for the export test also will need to pay 200 aed fees for Dubai traffic file in case needed. Kindly check with UAE customs and the country you will ship to before bidding to know the shipping T&Cs

When can the auction time be extended?
Any bid on any plate in the last 5 minutes of the plate auction end time will increase the auction end time by 5 minutes each time. Also, in case of a tech issue and the prayer times.
What does it mean when a car is sold "AS IS"?
Cars sold "AS IS" are sold in their current condition (with all faults) from their current location. There will not be any guarantee or warranty for vehicles under this category. Any information provided by the seller or Emirates Auction regarding the vehicle is for the buyer's convenience only. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to confirm, research, inspect, and investigate the vehicle before bidding.
Can I increase my bidding limit?

What should I do after paying the Security Deposit to be able to start bidding?
If the security deposit is made with a card you will be able to make bids immediately.
If the deposit is made through a bank transfer or bank deposit, upload proof of payment to your account by following the steps shown in this link
you can also place your deposit by cheque and it will be updated in your account immediately to start bidding.
In case I bought a car, can I use my security deposit as part of the payment?
Yes, only if your security deposit was made by bank transfer or bank deposit.Security deposit made by card or cheque can't be used in the payment after winning

Emirates Auction does not grant the accuracy or timeliness of the descriptions/pictures of vehicles provided on the website.You hereby release Emirates Auction from any liability for any inaccuracies or omissions in the descriptions/pictures, provided on the website. Can I register the car under any name?
Emirates Auction neither provides nor includes the registration service. It just provides you with the needed documents for registration(if available), noting that the documents will be issued under the account holder's name only.
In case I have won the auction for a car, for how long can I make the payments?
Payment Due Date of each serial number in the Statement of Purchase received by the buyer after the conclusion of each auction.

The auction end date and time are different for each vehicle. Next to each car, there is an "End Time" and "Time Remaining" mentioned.
What is the time limit to pay for displays bought in an auction?
Buyers have 48 hours from the auction end time to make payment. A payment delay penalty will be applied to each display with an outstanding balance after the payment deadline 105 aed for reach day.
Will I receive the number plate which is available in the picture of the car?
No, only the car is included in the auction.
Can I authorize someone to receive my car on my behalf?
Yes, only if the person is holding the original and attested Power of Attorney that allows him to receive the car on behalf of the owner.

Refreshing the app or portal during an auction ensures that you have the most up-to-date information, including the latest bids from other participants. This helps you stay informed and maintain your position as the highest bidder.
What should I keep in mind when bidding in the closing moments of an auction?
All bidders are responsible for ensuring that their bids are placed in a timely manner, particularly during the closing moments of an auction, Emirates Auction does not accept responsibility for bids that are not placed or executed due to technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or any other unforeseen circumstances. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor the auction closely and submit their bids promptly. Bidders are encouraged to bid with sufficient time remaining to avoid any last-minute bidding challenges.
Why was the auction extended without prior notice?
Auction time can extend in case a last-minute bid was placed, to provide an opportunity for the remaining bidders to place their bids. Also, the auction time may be extended during prayer times. Emirates Auction reserves the right to extend or postpone the auction as it deems appropriate
