This means that you can instantly associated your mobile number with important numbers such as your birthday, wedding year or the favorite player’s number. • #TAG is a unique code. For Ex: #11 or #505 etc... • Customers in UAE can call each other using the #Tag service. • #Tag is not a new mobile number; it is a code that will be attached to your existing postpaid mobile number. • Multiple #tags can be purchased and linked with the same mobile number.
What are the charges on #Tag service?
After the free 12 months period, #Tag’s service charge will be AED 375/per month.

I am a postpaid customer; how can I purchase a #Tag service?
Any customer with an active postpaid line can purchase the #Tag by visiting Emirates Auction website https://www.emiratesauction.com or downloading the mobile app.
Can I switch my #Tag on/off?
Yes, you can simply switch your #Tag ON or OFF by dialing *101# and choosing option 6 (#Tag Management). However, calls from other operator to the #TAG will still go through.
Who can call me on my #Tag?
All customers within UAE can call you on your #Tag (UAE’s Numbers). Calls originating outside of the UAE or calls originating from international operators, or from customers roaming abroad will not be able to call you on your #Tag. But can still call you on your normal mobile number.
I am a prepaid customer, can I purchase a #Tag service?
Apologies as this service is only available for active postpaid customers, however, you can purchase a new postpaid line from Etisalat and then purchase a #Tag by visiting Emirates Auction website https://www.emiratesauction.com or downloading the mobile app
What are the documents required to get #Tag service?
Only with your original Emirates ID.
Can I transfer the #Tag to another person?
Yes, #TAG can be transferred separately or along with the postpaid line by visiting Etisalat business center The new #Tag customer will continue on the remaining free benefit period
How much are the exit fees?
If a customer deactivates the service, assigned #TAG will be quarantined for 12 months, Customer can get the same #TAG assigned within the 12 months period only, After 12 months of quarantine period, #TAG will be available for other customers to purchase. The above rule is applicable for both voluntary and involuntary cessation
Will I receive an ownership certificate upon purchasing #Tag?
You will have the right to use the #Tag, and no ownership certificate will be issued.
After purchasing my #tag can I use it immediately?
Upon activation, yes you can use the #Tag immediately but you might not be able to receive calls from non-Etisalat callers within the UAE via #TAG for a limited period of time from the date of activation, as the enablement of such calls may require completion of additional configuration that is outside of Etisalat control. Such limited period may be up to 5 Business Days.
Can Customers from international operators/roaming in UAE call me in this #tag?
The Service is not compatible with calls originating outside of the UAE or calls originating from international operators, or from customers roaming abroad.

There is no exit charge for the #Tag Service. After #Tag service deactivation the assigned #TAG will be quarantined for 12 months. You can get the same #TAG assigned within the 12 months period only, After the 12 months of quarantine period, #TAG will be available for other customers to purchase. The above rule is applicable for both voluntary and involuntary cessation.
Can I send an SMS to the #Tag code directly?
No. the #Tag service support calls only.
How Calls made to the #tag will appear in my monthly bill?
Callers of the #TAG will see the associated mobile number on the bill and not the called #TAG.
Why should I refresh the app or portal during an auction?
Refreshing the app or portal during an auction ensures that you have the most up-to-date information, including the latest bids from other participants. This helps you stay informed and maintain your position as the highest bidder.
What should I keep in mind when bidding in the closing moments of an auction?
All bidders are responsible for ensuring that their bids are placed in a timely manner, particularly during the closing moments of an auction, Emirates Auction does not accept responsibility for bids that are not placed or executed due to technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or any other unforeseen circumstances. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor the auction closely and submit their bids promptly. Bidders are encouraged to bid with sufficient time remaining to avoid any last-minute bidding challenges.
Why was the auction extended without prior notice?
Emirates Auction reserves the right to extend auctions in certain circumstances, such as insufficient bidding activity, technical issues or court’s order. This extension ensures fair competition and allows bidders a reasonable opportunity to participate.
